Soap savings are REAL! My shower shelf is wire and the gaps are about 1/2 inch wide so the bar of soap kept sliding and falling through the gaps. I know it's not really that big of a problem, but the same thing happens every day. drove me crazy! I'm so glad I found her. Not only does it hold the soap in place, it also has holes in the bottom for water to drain (my other shower has a traditional wall mounted soap holder, a water jug). under the bar of soap and turn it into a giant, soft, wet marshmallow). The drain and teeth lifting the soap off the surface also keep that sticky dirt from building up all over the place. And if you like a bit of texture, the squirt's barbs create little ridges in the soap (not very noticeable and they wash off pretty quickly because they're not that deep, but a fun little detail). I would definitely recommend this to all bar soap users!
