It's not easy, but it works

I'm glad I didn't read all the reviews first. I don't know why I didn't do this, but in this case it worked. I didn't want to invest a lot of money in plain ice cream so I decided to try this one for $25. I made sure everything was tight and tight, started pouring through the tube, it's ok, a bit shaky, I spilled a bit, don't worry. As soon as the water began to flow from the tips of the silicone balls, I stopped and once you understand that if they are not aligned, the water will be squeezed out on the opposite side, be more careful and everything will be fine. It's too big to fit lengthwise in my freezer, so I had to empty the shelf to allow it to move from side to side. Okay, that's a bit annoying, but only because I have tomahawk steaks in my freezer, which take up a lot of space. So no deal breaker. After 24 hours I had the first four almost transparent balls of ice cream. HOORAY. I poured hot water into the base because I was impatient and wanted to put it back in the freezer so I could stock up on ice balls. 1. You really have to be careful with the black foam casing as there are weak points where it can tear. 2. Everything needs to be installed correctly and this is the most time consuming part of the process. 3. You must stand still, otherwise water will flood the entire floor and freezer shelf. I can buy a flat tray to make this easier. 4. Hinged Black Styrofoam Coat. I have a case of Revain bungee cords and a few tiny ones that are perfect for this. I have three of them holding the outer wrap tightly around the water filled balloons. Let's see if it helps in the second round. So far I don't mind paying 1/3 the cost of some other clear ice ball jigs and getting great results. Again, you have to be VERY GENTLE or it will break or not sit properly. You can't upset him or force him.
