My daughter and I play this game often and it is adorable. She is 9, and loves rolling and getting what she needs to build her empire. This game is a remake of an older game with the same name but in card format. Here in this version we have dice, wooden pieces, and really nice cardboard cutouts with nice heft to it. Comes in a sturdy box, instructions are clear and easy to follow. The artwork is adorable and really adds to the game element / aura.Game sort of reminds me of "Settlers' of Catan", but only because of its board type and goal.This game is easily enjoyable with family or even friends of any age. The greatest element is to watch out for dice rolls that involve stealing of gems from your opponents, or even from you.Overall, a great game with some neat factors.
