Very cheap, good sound, very fragile.

First of all this is great for me but I would understand why few people need it. This is great for my situation because I bought an old soundbar at a flea market with a damaged optical connector. To connect a soundbar to a TV these days, you almost always have to use an optical cable or Bluetooth. This soundbar does not support Bluetooth and the optical connection does not work. I was able to buy it for about $10 and hooked it up to my soundbar via RCA cables and then to my TV via an optical cable. This saved me a ton of money by not having to replace the entire soundbar. The downsides are that I can't control the volume of my soundbar with the TV remote as it doesn't connect directly through the optical cable. Likewise, the included optical cable is the thinnest optical cable I've ever seen in my life and I had no idea they were made that thin. It's very fragile and will definitely break if you have to fiddle with it all the time, but I definitely don't have to because I use it. Overall I think I made the right purchase because it fits my circumstances perfectly. , it sounds pretty good and doesn't seem to affect the quality of my soundbar but I would advise others to look elsewhere if you think this product will be too fragile as it probably will.
