Not just for women. The guide even shows how to shave a man's face. This product will NOT make a tight cut. And if you are a tall woman, it will give you a severe rash. I can't comment on thinner women, but I attribute this mainly to my weight and not fitting at angles, nor does it do well for softer (less firm and supple) skin. It's also not good for your armpits. I use it on my calves, for a quick shave before putting on a dress and on my lower legs. For me, this is the only thing this product works for.
