Confusing instructions, had to change
For 1/2" copper pipe protruding from wall (1/2" copper fitting). The instructions are very poorly written, I doubt the person who wrote them even installed them. However, when tightening a plastic extension onto a plastic adapter with an O-ring in between, the "formed hole" for the screw ends up on the wrong side. Does not fit the slot in the adapter. I drilled a 1/4 hole on the opposite side of the cast hole. It worked. No Leaks The quality of the spout itself is good and looks good and the changeover works well.
