update: I contacted Treblab and they provided more than excellent customer service. They offered me either a full refund or an exchange or an upgrade for the Treblab xfit. Eventually, due to the support and recommendations from Treblab customers, I switched to the xfit headphones, which fit my needs and my ears much better. I am very happy with the connection, sound and design of these headphones and more than happy with the support from Treblab and their stand behind their products. I've had it for less than a week now. So far I've had major connection problems. I wear them for runs and until now every time I let them go out during a run I couldn't put them back on until I had to delete my Bluetooth profile and try pairing them again a couple of times. I literally had to stop my run multiple times to figure it out. The charge indicator isn't that good either. Battery life and sound are okay though. I'll give it a little more try before making my final decision on whether to keep it or return it for a refund.
