I am a cat rescuer and I usually have a team of cats in my home. I also provide shelter for 4 special needs kittens, one without front paws and three with cerebellar hypoplasia. CH kittens have nervous system problems that lead to problems with balance and coordination, so they often stagger and fall. One of them can't walk at all and is rolling on the ground. As you understand, this means that these little ones can get dirty very quickly, especially if they stumble, roll over or fall into the tray while doing their 'business'.
