Review on Ignition Control Lincoln Madlife Garage by Cory Whitney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Filled with white sand to make it look heavier

I didn't buy this as I expected it to work. I bought it for the aluminum body to build a stealth HEI system for my Jeep after being unable to find a used non-working original. I cut through the epoxy and found a case half filled with white sand and a tiny circuit board held in place with two screws. There was an NPN Darlington high voltage ignition driver (TO-263 style) that was soldered to the PCB and glued to the aluminum. It's amazing to see the maker add sand to give the piece some "heaviness". I believe it was used as a base to pour the 1/4" epoxy.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
