Advantages: It is very cute. It's small and compact. He has different plates to cook anything he says except meatballs. The plates are easy to change. Cons: A small rubber foot was missing, which was noticed before the first use. I had to put something underneath to even it out. Doesn't get very hot. It took over 7 minutes to bake 1 waffle to a very light color. The waffles stick to the bottom plate no matter what I do. I added the batter for the second waffle and it took so long to bake I pulled out my old square waffle iron, plugged it in, let it heat up, then added the batter and closed the iron. It was done, and the little ECX babble still wasn't done. Once this was done the bottom plate had to be removed and pulled on all 4 corners and sides to finally release the waffle. It was still pretty easy to prepare. Cooking a small square waffle should take no more than 7 minutes. Very dissatisfied with it. I give 3 stars for ease of use because it's difficult to pour the batter, close the lid and turn the handle (which is useless). I gave it 2 stars for the ease of cleaning because no matter what I did the waffles would get stuck which helped with the cleanup. I gave the heat 1 star because if it got really warm it wouldn't take more than 7 minutes to make a very light, barely cooked 1 small square waffle.
