Ideal for Achilles tendonitis
I have Achilles tendinitis. A few years ago a physical therapist gave me air pocket braces, one on the arch and one just over the tendon. They worked well, but the air pockets were bulky and not ideal. This brace does the same thing but with a larger elastic band. Not bulky and quite comfortable, as far as braces go, it's very comfortable.
