Review on MSD 82438 Blaster Coil Plug by Aaron Guy

I was a bit nervous about getting these as everyone says you should buy OEM coils but because of the price difference I decided to give them a try. They worked great and I've done about 12000 clicks on my 09 F-150 and they work fine. The protective casing on them was a little shorter than the original ones I took out, but they fit well and I smeared them with plenty of dielectric grease to keep water or anything from getting in there. In hindsight, I should have just replaced them when I changed the spark plugs a while back rather than waiting for my gas mileage and performance to drop. From now on I'll just swap my corks next time. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their coils. ************ UPDATED REVIEW Just as a side note, I wanted people to know how these reels hold up 2.5 years later. They are working so well so far, I am so happy with my purchase. I've driven them about 140,000 km and they haven't given me any problems. I live in Calgary Canada and my truck has seen -40C and it starts and runs with no problems. I don't drive very much, but it's a pickup and I use it as a pickup, haul stuff and haul heavy stuff. These reels are great and I would buy them again. In fact I am in the process of replacing some coils on a 2009 4.6 liter Explorer and I need these coils which I will buy and install without hesitation! **************
