Bought for my fiancé who constantly wears holes in regular belts. This belt is very comfortable, does not pull on the stomach and does not leave marks on the stomach. It looks well built, but the buckles and slider appear to be thin aluminum and could be the part of the strap that breaks first. An upgraded version with steel, nickel or aluminum hardware will make this a 5 star rating and look a little better. This is not a fault of the strap itself, but a warning: this strap is difficult to carry with objects. that have belt clips (like pagers, some phone cases, etc.). As other reviewers have pointed out, you may need to add a few stitches to the belt loops to reinforce them, but either that or you're dealing with a conventional belt.
