I don't know how to ruin dental floss but this thing is absolutely awful. Every time I floss I have to go through three or four full strands because they keep breaking. If you have tight contact between your teeth (or sharp teeth?) then don't waste your time and money on this crap. So I can imagine brushing my teeth with Teflon tape. I think it's possible that this is a fake version. I don't know why Amazon has such a problem with counterfeit dental care products. I think next time I will shop at Target.
