I have used several security cameras in the past and they all have excellent quality, ease of use and top-notch features. This seems to meet most of these requirements. The box arrived in a plain white unmarked box, which I found a bit odd. I'm used to product packaging boasting device features or app compatibility. Inside you will find the contents packed tightly and neatly, including the camera, wall mount, wall mount screws, power supply and installation guide. Installing the app was easy and relatively intuitive. However, I was a little worried about how many permissions the app was asking for. But I think that they are all necessary for the correct operation of the security functions. Although the product is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, I couldn't figure out which features to use because they weren't explained in the instructions. Connecting the account to my Google Home app didn't seem to give me any other options. The camera itself has good build quality and size, especially given the full 1080p capture. The wide-angle view doesn't distort much, but captures the entire small space perfectly. Motion alerts are fast and efficient as your recent snapshot history is saved to your Zmodo account. The device even comes with a free trial of cloud storage. After that there are two options: $5/month for 7 days recording or $10/month for 30 days recording. The price is on par with most other cloud video storage systems available. There are very few things to complain about. However, I will find that the device's speaker has a very low volume even when set to high. It was hard to hear even when I spoke loudly into the phone.
