A bit like my second wife but like that. This solidly built little kid (actually, they're a bunch of little kids, but I just dealt with one) securely snaps onto your 1/4-inch headphones, or whatever you've got, so you then snap them in can poke a small hole. Sockets found on most modern devices. It sits firmly in the nest, does not move or play, makes noise or interrupts the sound. Can't comment on the longevity of the adapter as I've only had it a day, but as I said it looks and feels like something that should get the job done and knows how to do it.
