This is a great scale, works well, seems accurate and easy to use. My issue is that the steel shell had a plastic sheet on the top when it was stamped or formed and although the plastic sheet peels off the top it sticks to the sides and cannot be removed. It looks horrible. I was planning to use this scale to post pictures of items for sale with their weight and it will not work for that purpose unless I can remove the plastic. I will try removing it with acetone and update if that has been effective. This will be a project. If you have a non-foil scale, this is a great device!
