Review on Gel Shock Super Bag Boxing Gloves For Ringside Training by Nicholas Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compact design is a bit tighter then their Apex line. Good feedback on strikes. Solid gloves

The Ringside series of products are definitely my favorites for kickboxing workouts. I get tons of compliments on how aesthetically pleasing they are, plus they perform very well. Construction for these are fairly straightforward with solid seams and good synthetic materials. The hook and loop design makes putting on and taking off the gloves very easy. Wrist support is good but you may want to opt for some wrist wraps if you are just beginning. With wraps the fit is definitely quite snug until they are properly broken in. The compact design definitely feels tighter then their Apex line of gloves. The molded foam/gel provides good shock absorbancy and does a nice job of protecting your hands and good feedback to your strikes. Ventilation is ok but I usually have to rotate between several different pairs until the ones I use dry out. Febreeze works well but I generally throw then into the washer on gentle every month or so and they have held up well. Overall, they are reliable and perform as expected. Love the Ringside brand and their collection of gloves. 5 stars.
