I managed to get over this and added a lot more water to the meat mixture on the second batch until it was really gooey. It won't affect your product and it totally helped. Stuffed 25 pounds. Chopsticks in minutes with no hassles! I hope it lasts for many, many more years, but after my first round with it I'm very satisfied and can only recommend it! Yes, it's expensive, but if you're making large batches of sausage on a regular basis, it's worth it!
