I thought I'd be happy with the standard Joy-Con controllers in a pen. My hands are smaller than most gamers', so I was relatively comfortable with it until I tried Mario Kart with separate Joy Cons with my brother. Even my smaller hands aren't small enough to work with them comfortably, and they match up unevenly as the buttons somehow don't line up well. I need a second controller if I want to play normally with someone else. Enter this beauty! The Pro controller feels great right out of the box, and its solid weight is helped by its vibration isolation and internal battery. This works great if you're having trouble using the smaller Joy Con controller in its grip. The controller charges relatively quickly, and pairing with the console is easy once you've connected the charging cable to the Switch base at least once. a pain in the ass to transport/travel. Anything touching a button or joystick will activate it and kill the battery inside. I don't plan on traveling with it much, so for a home controller it works perfectly! Love it!
