I have a greyhound and she only wears martingale collars because of her thin neck. Ordinary collars will slip right off her head. There is only one leash attachment on this collar, making it a regular collar. If they added another leash clip to the loop (the part that would turn it into a martingale) it would serve two purposes: a martingale and a standard collar. I added a carabiner to the loop and it worked fine but it pinched the fabric. And now I have 3 of these collars. They are very pretty but they need a different clip for the leash. If it had a different leash clip I would give it 5 stars.
