Not sure what the problem is

Item ordered when it arrived I unscrewed the factory screw no problem but when I tried to install it it only went a quarter of the way. I've tried several times, the same result, but the factory screw fits perfectly. I requested a refund and they sent me a new one before I sent the original back, so thanks for that. The second came and I got the same result. The bolt only went in about a quarter of the way before it stopped, but this time I couldn't get it out with my fingers because I seem to have unusual strength in my hands, so I covered it with a rag and used it. Pliers to start removing and in doing so I messed up the article. I am returning the replacement that is not damaged and I will have to pay for the damaged one. I don't know, as I said, the factory bolt fits perfectly almost to the end when I use my hand and only at the very last moment I need a key. The reason for the 3 stars is that they sent out a replacement before getting a refund. I have used Kuryakyn in the past, they are a top notch company and I will be using them in the future. I can't find any other explanation.
