PLUSES. I like less vertical spacing between shelves so you can fit/see more items at a glance and get more shelves in a smaller space. With separate stackable shelves to put other items on. - Very durable. - Can be used vertically or horizontally and easily stacked. - Easy to assemble. Less than 5 minutes. No tools are needed, except maybe a rubber mallet. minuses. You cannot customize/remove/add shelves from the front. Once you have the shelves installed you nail the back panel in place and only need to remove the back panel (remove nails) to adjust the shelves. That's fine if you plan on leaving the shelves as is, and it certainly provides some extra reinforcement, but after installing it I realized I wanted to remove the bottom two shelves so I could have there could accommodate larger items. I had to remove the back panel to remove the shelves. I bought a second one and really just removed the backing to make it easier for me to adjust the shelves. In general I like it. If they could make the next gen front adjustable this would be a 5 star product.
