Ok so I'll try to make this review helpful, be patient. I've wanted a Fitbit for a few months, mostly because I got fat at my last job, which luckily I don't do anymore, and wanted to track steps, sleep, and all that other cool stuff. The more I explored Fitbits the more I was attacked by Facebook Buy Ads which probably contributed to my purchase but *shrug* what can you do. I didn't have my wallet with me, I had something super futuristic like the Jetsons that I liked. My mistake was that I didn't check beforehand if my bank is supported, which it isn't. That may be in the future, but I expect Fitbit to add real-time mood monitoring before that happens. Because I was drunk when I ordered it, I also made the mistake of getting rose gold because the other SE colors weren't available for one-day basic shipping when I ordered it. Don't get me wrong, it's cool and all, but I'm not a rose gold girl. Every time I watch this it reminds me of my drinking problem and how I make stupid decisions when I'm drunk. GOOD! That's not on the way. This little thing is pretty cool. I'm heavily tattooed and didn't even google if Fitbit works on tattoos until I found out after my purchase that dark/saturated inks can definitely affect device performance. So I wear it very loosely on my dominant wrist where I have a small patch of clear skin. Sometimes it slides back down my arm where I have a tattoo and I'm having trouble getting a good heart rate reading. Something to consider if you are fully clothed like me. Sleep tracking was the best feature. I knew I slept badly but when I look at it on the app I realize how bad it is. I might miss the app an evening or two a week, don't know why, but I think fit/tattooed. It seems that holding the device loose is very important to get accurate readings given the many customizable watch faces and low watch profile. As mentioned, I'm fat now, but I'm lucky enough to have very thin wrists and incredibly long fingers/hand, the device isn't bulky at all. Since this is my first fitness tracker, I don't really have much to do. Compare this to (I've been using MapMy [any] apps for years but obviously it's all manual) but I have to say that after a month I'm really happy with my intoxicated purchase. I feel like I'm learning a lot about my body, my habits and how sedentary I can be as a freelance writer, even though my bike is my only mode of transportation. If you're looking for your first Fitbit, I'd definitely recommend the Versa. Just, you know, don't accidentally order it drunk and you'll end up with an ugly color.
