Perfect replacement

Our old Fleetwood Bounder's two cargo doors had gas struts which didn't hold them in place. It was the perfect replacement. It's very easy to change if you know how to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the old post's spring to loosen it from the mounting knob. Installation is very simple, just slide the new post onto the handle, it requires a little force, but no tools or a hammer are required for installation. Make sure you choose the correct pole length AND required strength. The 40 pound stanchions were perfect for our trailer, but larger and heavier doors may require stronger stanchions.
