I drive an air tractor trailer and a 3 axle suspension dump truck in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. No matter what brand of suction cup mount I've ever used while crossing the Commodore Barry Bridge in any direction, GPS, phone mount, dash cam, you name it, it fell off the windshield. I'm a little excited to try this dual cup mount to see if it can handle those crappy roads and bridges that our road taxes don't fix. I put this unit in my Yukon Denali for a day, but it's not a fair test as it doesn't truck-hop. I hope I remember to update the rating after using it in the TRUCK. They appear to have shipping glue on them to keep the round thin plastic screens on during shipping. I'm sure it will help with absorption for now. The twistlock portion of this mount isn't as thick as a real RAM cup, but I don't know if that affects adhesion to the windshield.
