Review on Styletech 498 Permanent Scrapbooking Silhouette by Doris Tran

I didn't get a chance to try this vinyl, which was important for making Christmas gifts, until mid-December. Because of this, I can't ask for a refund, otherwise I would have. When I tried the product I cut out my design with Cricut Maker and when I tried to weed it the pieces didn't fall apart and the pieces that need to be left over probably didn't stick to the paper. I tried again with a deeper cut but still struggled. I could make out larger images while holding larger parts, but I struggled with more complex drawings and ended up having to abandon them. It was impossible. I've seen people recommend weeding small parts with tape, but to be honest that would complicate the whole design, and there weren't many "tiny" parts in this design that required all of that! I avoided giving a gift to my son's teacher for fear the vinyl would immediately peel off. I think I'll find out tomorrow. Pretty disappointing for the holiday season.
