UPDATE- 3/1/2021- User error, in a non-standard application, caused my original problems. I have now SUCCESSFULLY installed the Leadtops H3 bulbs in my KC Daylighter spotlight housings as highbeams for a longer throw on remote highways and off road excursions. They are not as bright as the 150w halogen KC bulbs but I anticipated that. They are very bright with the focused KC spotlight housing and are great for my older FJ60 Landcruiser. Combined with the spread of my upgraded LED headlights I have ideal visibiliy. For the Hella Rally housings the fan assembly is too deep to for in the poly housings. I will either need to modify it or consider a different bulb (fog lamp). To be continued. Regardless, I am very pleased with the bulbs and will update after more time passes as to performance in the KC Daylighter stainless steel housing and off road abuse.Thank you Leadtops!Original review:DOA H3 LED bulbs or not for 12 vehicle light replacement-I ordered two sets of the H3 LED bulbs to replace the halogens in my Hella driving lights and to use in my old KC Daylighters for a temporary fix until purchasing the KC Gravity LED inserts. Neither bulb in either set of these Leadtops packages powers on. I connected the original halogen bulbs which work as expected and are still extremely bright. The Leadtops boxes are plain cardboard, were not sealed with tape or adhesive, no logo or info printed on the box, and no instructions included. Other reviews stated there was 3M tape to secure the bulbs but my two packages had only the bulbs packed securely in contoured foam imserts. I have had great luck with BeamTech and Hikari LED bulbs in other vehicles and thought these low profile Leadtech would be good, too. As of now I am unable to locate the contact info for the seller so will update if I am able to get support.
