No hooks, ladders or hoses. Basically, it's just the idea of a fire truck. What is very good if you are a very small person and have your idea of a fire truck is that you can encourage moving "fast" while imitating fire sirens. Having a firefighter present – or actually just the idea of a firefighter – is good, but not necessary. The only real issue is that like all Green Plan toys, it has a dull, slightly faded coloring. For some reason I find this particularly disturbing on a fire truck. It is not for nothing that one speaks of something like a "red fire engine”. This truck looks more like sun-bleached red. It's not a bad choice, however, until the kid is ready to upgrade to a more realistic looking truck. And I think the real price for it is in the five to eight dollar range - which is certainly not the case with the more detailed Green Plan cars.
