I bought this to use as a base for my cards thinking it will work as everyone recommends 110# cards. to this classic misconception about how paper is actually measured and was bitterly disappointed when the paper arrived. It's heavier than the 65# cards I've bought from Michaels, but not by much. I'm guessing it's about 75# cards compared to Michaels. I leave that because I can use it for matting as the mat doesn't need to be as heavy as a base, but I ended up buying 110# cards from Michaels (it's only on their website, not in their stores) to make them for my bases to use. By the way, I'm very, very happy with this card from Michaels, so use the 40% off coupon, buy enough packs to get free shipping ($49 is required for free shipping) and you'll be much happier, IF you want card bases like me.
