Review on 💪 ApexGaming AX-550 PSU: New 2020 High Performance 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Silent Gaming Power Supply with Anti-Vibration Technology by Nicholas Suave

This PS, while working well, does not support 3090 @ 4k Full Tilt. If the performance cap is lowered in Afterburner or GPU Tweak it works. Every time I try to go to 100% power cap I get an error message from my GPU saying there is not enough rail power. I've already ordered an 850 watt unit to replace the one I have, but the description only says it supports it, not that it can actually work properly. My system is typical and low power running AMD so I doubt the full 750w at 1000w peak. I know the absolute power consumption is 400W compared to the 3090 which is a high number. But it must have enough power to deliver full 4K. Stay up to date! So now I've upgraded my case with the 850W Modular PS Apex and so far I've been able to use the full graphics at all levels without my GPU throwing an error code. So overall satisfied but was surprised that 750 watts wouldn't work properly. So if you have a Monster 3090, go for 850 watts or more if you can.
