Excellent insulation for added protection

For any heat application. You can lay this on a pot of molten metal and it wont burn. Excellent insulation for added protection on wood stove or pellet stove installations,

This insulation is very good is everything I wanted it to be for forging

Cons

Not suitable for use in areas with constant exposure to moisture, as the fibers may become wet and lose their insulating properties
