Review on Headphones Sennheiser CX 300-II, black by Barbara GM ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not quite what I expected, overall it's ok.

Before to that, I was using Fischer Audio Consonance, which proved out to sound FAR BETTER than the CX 300-II. My naivete led me to believe that the popularity of Senkhs affected by their lack of availability in the stores of our Motherland. No, if you previously spent 500 (or not 50) minutes listening to music through headphones, the CX 300-II will appear to be the pinnacle of perfection. In actuality, the CX 300-II has porridge and everything else save the bass. It appears that these are Chinese rattles because the upper ones are particularly elevated. They make "bumts-booms" sound good, but when you listen to rock, you want to cry. As only the bass can be heard, the idea of "stage depth" is lacking in this context. The overall sound can also be characterized as "like a barrel." The infamous "warming up" has no impact on the circumstance.

Pros
  • construction, bass
Cons
  • pretty subpar sound
