If you have an XL pressure cooker or another brand of pressure cooker that fits this product, you should probably order this part now as a replacement as you will end up losing the gasket in the sink. Once I was lucky enough to find a rubber disk when I lost it, but the second time I wasn't so lucky. For less than $10, you can get a 10-cent rubber washer to keep using your $75+ pressure cooker and have a replacement for the life of your pressure cooker. Bad design and manufacturer should deliver extra. Also, you probably just want a rubber washer that costs a dime and a few bucks will get you 10, but that's another story. Wandering if the Instant Pot has such a bad design? Probably not, but there is something to consider when buying a pressure cooker.
