I have a beagle who just had surgery on both knees. I wanted a padded cage that opens from multiple sides so I can open it when I'm in the room with her and close it when I'm not looking after her. I was really impressed with this box. It's very durable, with what appears to be a well-made canvas body and reinforced corners. The zippers are nice and smooth and the mesh flaps have velcro to keep them open. The only thing I would like to fault is the pad that comes with the kit. The upholstery material is very soft and velvety, but the insert is just a hard piece of foam. I bought another rug to put in the drawer. However, for the price, I believe you can't go wrong as other similar items cost $10-$50 more.
