Great cage habitat

This is the best habitat for small animals! You can use it as one large area or split it up if your little ones are adopted or don't get along. We've tried both methods and they work great. Of course, the larger your living space, the easier it will be for you to keep it clean. At the moment we're using it on rats, but you can use it on almost anything! We used a large medium sized tray at first but recently moved and decided to try something new by putting it back together. I removed the large center tray as it looked like a place they didn't want to be at all. Now it works much better! Now we're giving them a lot more to do, places to climb and different textures to walk on. We use: - Ladders for birds (they can chew them and you can replace them). - flexible ropes for birds to give them climbing frames. -Pipes from Home Depot's plumbing department. Easy to cut and big enough for rats! Also, they're ribbed, so it's like giving them a ladder in tubes - random plastic tubs that we hang from above and also place in different places in the cage. Just use a drill to drill large holes (with door handle drill bit set). They are easy to clean and our rats love them! Use a cup of pine pellet litter in each bucket. It really works. We just try to give our animals as much space as possible for play, changes in their environment and activities. Your little animals will love it.
