This is the best habitat for small animals! You can use it as one large area or split it up if your little ones are adopted or don't get along. We've tried both methods and they work great. Just use a drill to drill large holes (with door handle drill bit set). They are easy to clean and our rats love them! Use a cup of pine pellet litter in each bucket. It really works. We just try to give our animals as much space as possible for play, changes in their environment and activities. Your little animals will love it.
