Descaler replaces salt water softener
My salt water softener needed replacing and not knowing how well the descaler would work I bought both a descaler and salt system. Despite the degree of hardness 30, I didn't have to use a water softener. The descaler is doing its job and the salt system is idling. And with its claim that it lasts 6 years or 600,000 gallons, my salt system is useless. It's amazing how smooth and tasty my water is.
