I bought this for my new splitter which only had a USB port. I knew we needed a better charging station! This allows us both to connect our laptops and charge our devices. Charging is quick and the cord is long enough to go around the back of the sofa to the outlet. The only thing is that it moves a bit more than I need, so I will most likely attach it to the furniture with velcro or something to avoid moving. It's very convenient and I could say that the socket layout is perfect if you're plugging in anything with large plugs that can take up two places on a standard long power strip.
