Fast, small and uncomfortably heated.
I'm using this on a 16" MacBook Pro and it's fast. I'm getting close to 1GB/s reading and writing, but it gets too hot when it's busy writing. I'm worried it won't last long only time will tell but I'm worried make sure you use the included USB-C to USB-C cable to speed it up USB 3.2 Gen 2. I tried the cable that came with my iPadpro and it's very slow in comparison.Update: I bought the drive in December 2019. It's now April 2021 and it's still running. Zero problems so far. Highly recommended!
