I purchased for post lipoplasty as part of breast reconstruction. I have several style of compression garments, and this is far and away my favorite. It goes high enough to stay put and not cut into my belly anywhere, although by the end of the day and with lots of movement, it does slide down a little bit. The texture really is helping the bruising dissipate - you can SEE the effects, and it's pretty cool. I thought I would be annoyed that it doesn't have a crotch opening, but it's easy enough to get up and down that I don't mind. I ordered a second one to have while this one is drying.
