As a non-technical woman over 50, I found this unit very easy to install. I was very concerned it would be too difficult for me to install it myself after our last one failed. We have a very long living room and it is very difficult to hear the TV from across the room without a soundbar. I wanted one with a subwoofer as it is much better for watching movies and listening in general. We've had this before and loved it, so I wanted to find something similar. Looking at everything there was, this one was affordable and had all the options I really wanted. It had everything you need: remote control, cable, power cord, user manual, soundbar and subwoofer. The hardest part for me was figuring out which cables to use with my TV (it came with a red/white, auxiliary cable and an optical cable). I ended up going with the accessory cable and it worked great. I love that it has a remote control and I love that the remote shows you can switch modes in all 3 I just mentioned. Maybe I'll understand the different ones if I use it more often. It was surprisingly easy to install. All I had to do was decide on a cable, connect the stereo cable to the subwoofer, plug the aux cable into the TV and turn it on. I was very proud of myself. The sound is crisp and clear, the remote works from afar (we have a very long living room) and it was just what we needed. It was easy to install and the price was very affordable. I wish the subwoofer could be placed across the room and be wireless, but I can probably find an adapter or something to make that possible. . If I can't, I'm still very happy with this purchase as I can hear the TV very well throughout the room. If you're not as tech savvy as me, this will be good for you. It was very easy!
