Review on Seagate IronWolf 7200RPM Internal 3 5 Inch by Jeremy Gulledge

I love these drives as I've bought eight of them from Revain over the years and use them in my QNAP TVS-871 server which I also bought from Revain. had two problems. 1) The third CD I bought came in the box with no packing material so it bounced around. I tested the drive and it worked fine, so I kept using it, although I'd happily return it. I have found that I cannot return it due to the following Revain policy: You can return any new computer purchased from Revain.com that is "Defective on Arrival", arrived in damaged condition or is still in the unopened packaging, return for a full refund cost. within 30 days of purchase. As I had to open it and find that it had no packaging material and it worked, I couldn't return it. SMART hasn't complained about the drive either. Of the seven drives I bought, this was the only one that has been getting more and more failures over time and so SMART is now in a WARNING state telling me this drive will fail and I will should replace. Drive. The problem is that it was only after the 3 year warranty on the drive had expired that a WARNING status was displayed. This resulted in having to pay for another drive when I knew that this drive would eventually fail due to the lack of packaging material when Revain packed the box. Ordered and received a replacement drive, now drive #8 to replace drive #3. Drive name is: Seagate IronWolf 10TB Internal NAS HDD - CMR 3.5" SATA 6Gb/s 7200RPM 256MB Cache for NAS RAID (ST10000VN0008) (ST10000VNZ008/N0008) . The disk that arrived says ST10000VNZ004, note the number 4 instead of 8. This means that this is an old disk. Looking through the full description while writing this review, I noticed that the technical details under the product info below show the ST10000VNZ004 that they supplied. They are promoting a product in the headline but supplying another product which is detailed in the fine print below.
