I live in an apartment that unfortunately has no window in my small bathroom and the ceiling fan is mediocre at best. So poor ventilation leads to high humidity in my bathroom and an awkward problem where condensation collects on the walls and ceiling, slowly drips down and over time turns an awkward brown color - phew! Every time I cleaned the bathroom, I had to wash the walls and ceiling, dried drips were strangely difficult to remove, and I was always afraid of mold. I bought this wet cleaning product and I was like what the heck? It won't help in any way, but I'll try! Coming from an arid desert, moving to California and having a high humidity bathroom was a new challenge for me. So I poured the strange white crystals into a plastic container and waited. Naturally! The water collected in the containers and brown streaks disappeared from the walls. Hey, for something this cheap to loosen my rough walls and get cleaned? I'm happy! To be honest I don't know how often I replace the crystals but I think your mileage will depend very much on the size of your room and the humidity level anyway. I am very happy. When I get rid of the moisture in my bathroom there are no more brown drips on my walls/ceiling! And one day, when I ran out of raw reeds, I forgot about it for a couple of weeks. Rough brown that drips back. The thing works!
