My hair naturally curls into long spirals. Regular spray gel or mousse gives my curls definition and frizz control, but at the expense of a crisp, dry texture. Also, most products are too heavy for my hair length. I needed a lightweight, low porosity hair product from the OGX Water collection. I've tried the whole line and I want it to work, but it doesn't quite suit me. This product smells amazing. It's easy to apply and offers excellent coverage that doesn't dry out and is surprisingly soft to the touch. If my hair stayed like this all day, I'd be a lifetime OGX customer. Unfortunately it doesn't last. My curls separate and transform into a fluffy halo of curly madness within 4-6 hours. The 8-in-1 atomizer should be a flying solution, but it's not really a mist. A master of quality could have saved this product, but it's almost impossible to use in your own spray bottle. If I wanted to get my hair wet, I would shower again. My favorite product in this line is the creamy water that disappears after a shower, leaving my normally dry hair soft and manageable. Unfortunately, I still need a gel spray (or hairspray - phew!) to provide hold and prevent frizz. If you want a lightweight product and your hair is less prone to frizz, this product may be for you.
