I think some transparency is needed here. I did not measure the average size of the back pockets of trousers and did not compare it with the size of the wallet. It's big and I have quite a bit of time to pull out my wallet just in my pants. However, this is a quality wallet. I bought a Dopp wallet in 1998 and only recently retired it. That's how long it went on. If it weren't for the broken plastic license plate cover and loose edges, I'd still be using my wallet today. I particularly like the license removal feature. I would recommend using this feature when traveling and walking in an unfamiliar city. I recommend putting the detachable piece in the front pocket with cash and ONE credit card, back pocket. It's barely noticeable, so it's safer.
