Hard but too small

I have a 12 point snap on head that I use for hubs. I figured it would be better to use a 6-point connector for them and didn't want to spend $70 on a snap-on that will only be used intermittently. The hub lock nut is crowned and this 36mm hex socket was too shallow for this application. As such, I don't have much information on its durability/value for money - I'm just glad I didn't jump on a flat bar and end up in the same place. Received it quickly and just in time for my weekend mechanic assignments.
