I live in the south but travel a lot with my dog. Being a short-haired breed, they don't have that extra layer of coat that long-haired dogs have. When we travel north my dog shivers and his ears get very cold, he usually curls up in a very tight ball to keep warm. I bought this sweater and the very first time I wore it and we traveled in winter weather it endured temperature changes much better, now even in the rain she stands under the hook waiting for me to put the sweater on her. I take this as her approval of wearing clothes.
