They have a beautiful pattern and are well made. This is exactly the look I was looking for. I looked at several similar stockings at my local hardware store but was confused by the price at $17 per stocking. It adds up quickly when you're shopping for a family! I know how to knit with yarn myself, but I also winced when it took me so long to knit 4 identical stockings the way I wanted! So I bought them instead. I'm very glad I did! They are actually a lot softer than the ones I looked at in the store. If you plan to stuff them with a lot of things or heavy objects, I can see that you will have problems with the stockings stretching and deforming just because of the material. They are unlined, so the stocking eventually takes on the shape of a tube. However, I'm a craft lover so I'm planning on sewing my own linings for the inside to make them look nice and give them a little more structure. So I can use them for years. Absolutely worth the money.
