The waste size is the same and not small enough for 36 inches or less.

I bought this product for an operation I had. However, I found the size of the waste to be too large and could not give me the support I needed. I'm 34-36" tall and of average build, about 5'7", 190 lbs. The product did not stay in place. I still haven't had enough and found good tight panties work better.
