Review on 6 Count Variety Tub of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser by Michelle Rogers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love these erasers.

I love magic erasers. When they first showed up they sent me a free sample. I threw it in the trash with a grin. I didn't like the feel or the look and wasn't sure it would come out clean. A month later my sister called and praised it as the best remedy she had ever tried. I bought this to remove stubborn limescale from a bathtub that had been leaking for a year. An overnight soak in vinegar helped, but the limescale lingered. I decided to try the Mr Clean magic eraser brand. My jaw dropped as I scratched, and with a little effort the chalk came off. I stopped grinning. These are clean joints. They clean the sinks of old farmhouses. They clean the tiles from mold. They clean the tile floors. They clean chicken piles from a wooden pole. The only downside is that after a job like cleaning a tub or grouting, they wear out and have to be thrown away. This assorted pack is great but do not use other kitchen cleaners as they have already added Dawn dishwashing liquid. Ordinary ones are suitable for ordinary dirt, heavy ones are suitable for grouting. It says so on the label, but beware! There are surfaces they cannot be used on, they leave scratches on some surfaces such as plastic and stainless steel. They are made of foam intended for cleaning only. Check a spot that isn't visible if you're concerned and if in doubt, don't use it on that item. I scratched the bathtub which wasn't porcelain but one that had fallen out of old bathtubs. They deceive with their cleaning power. Magic is true when used properly.
